First of all, I came to study in this Chinese school because of my daughters, they wanted me to accompany them. At first, I did not expect anything much. My first year, I did not know any things different. When I pass to the second year, I felt okay with Chinese language. But when I am at the third year, I noticed something; I would be able to understand much more than before when people speak Chinese, which is a very good start for me.

剛開始，我進來中文學校的目的是為了陪我的兩個女兒一起讀，所以我並沒有期待太多。在學習的第一年，我並沒有什麼不同；經過了第二年，我覺得我懂了一點點中文；當我再度學習到第三年，我發現自己的不同：當我聽見有人以國語對話的時候，我開始慢慢聽得懂一些內容了！這對我來說是很大的鼓勵和進步了！

As a mother there are many things for me to do and as you know, women in this country enjoy to work outside of the house too. I admitted that, I did not put more effort for Chinese language, but what I get from the school nowadays, I am so happy about it. I would like to thank people who make this school possible. All the children and adults who wish to know Chinese language have an opportunity to learn and understand it.

身為一個母親，家裏總是有許多的家事要做，同時，你可能也知道，在加拿大許多女性都喜歡在外工作；所以我承認我並沒有花太多時間在學習中文，所以我真的很感謝中文學校的老師的教導讓我有這樣的成績表現。我要感謝當時創辦這所學校的人，因為他讓我們這些想學習中文的大人和小孩都有機會去學習中文和了解慈濟。

In this school, as you can see, people who work for the school would do the best for the school and have a little for return. But most of them are volunteers and do not want anything from return. The teachers give us the best knowledge. They do care, patient, support and encourage us all the time.

在這所學校裏，就如你所看見的，學校的志工們都盡他們的能力默默付出，不求回報。學校的老師們也盡其所能的貢獻他們的專業知識，他們的關心、耐心、愛心，總是支持、鼓勵我們。

Last but not least, all the good words that teachers give us, it helps us to understand ourselves and more. If we can make the use of all the good words, our life would be easier and happier. I like all the good words that teacher gives, but the most touching phrase is “Nothing in this world you cannot do” and “Nobody in this world you can not forgive.”

最重要的一點是，老師教我們的靜思語意義深遠。靜思語使我們更進一步省思並了解自己更多。如果我們可以多善用我們所學的靜思語，我們的生活將會更歡喜自在的！在老師教的靜思語中，我自己覺得印象最深刻的是『信心、毅力、勇氣三者具備，則天下沒有不能完成的事！』還有『普天之下沒有我不能原諒的人、普天之下沒有我不能相信的人、普天之下沒有我不能信任的人』。

In this school, it gives us more than just the Chinese language, they also teach us manners and the way how to handle things in our daily life. I am so glad to find this Chinese school for my daughters and myself.

在這所學校裏，我們所學到的不只是中文，老師還教我們生活上的禮儀和面對生活的態度。我真的很高興為我的女兒和自己找到了這所最好的中文學校學習！
